Dear Friends and Family,
Those of you who know us, know about our two pet rabbits, Bandit and Bailey. They had very different personalities, but we loved them both dearly. We are still reeling from the shock of a terrible accident that Bandit had last night, which resulted in the paralysis of his hind legs.

His back was not broken, and he was not in pain, but it was a serious enough injury that surgery or other medical procedures could not have helped him walk again.

After exploring all of our options, including an MRI and invasive surgery or going to a University vet at UC Davis, we were told that the odds of him walking again were slipping by too quickly to improve his chances. As you can imagine, it was a heartbreaking day, resulting in having to put him to sleep. Our vet (Dr. Lorinda Fallini, Frontier Pet Clinic) was very generous in allowing him to die in our arms.

Those of you who knew Bandit, probably thought of him as a young spring bunny, but in reality he was in his twilight years. We were blessed to have spent 7 1/2 years with such a character, and will remember him always.

Thanks for all of your love and support, we equally blessed by having you in our lives too.
